On Wednesday 7th September, Hundred Acre’s founder and director, Bridget Gilmour, was awarded the prestigious position of Vice President of IOSH, voted for by members of the IOSH Council.
“I’m in shock.” Explains Bridget. “I’m truly honoured to have been selected by the IOSH Council to undertake a Vice Presidents position for the next three years. When I decided to put myself forward, I thought my chances of being appointed were slim as I was not already a member of the IOSH Council, but it felt right to apply.
“The reality of achieving Vice President status is a truly amazing feeling. I can’t thank the council enough for selecting me to carry out such an important role for the Institution. I’m incredibly proud to join newly appointed Michelle Muxworthy, and existing VPs, Declan Gibney, Liz Skelton, Vincent Ho and Andrew Sharman to support the Presidential Team.”
As well as congratulating Michelle on her successful appointment as Vice President, we are delighted to hear IOSH Chartered Fellow, Craig Foyle, will become the next President Elect, and will be formally appointed at the AGM in November. We wish Craig untold success in his new appointment and look forward to him becoming President in November 2017.
