Can you believe the first half of 2017 is drawing to a close? We’re struggling to get our heads around it here in our Hundred Acre world, though looking back, we’ve packed a lot into the first six months.
So far, 2017 has been amazing. We’ve been working with new and established clients, developing and implementing safety management systems and delivering training courses. We’ve also been answering and supporting as many organisations as we can with their questions, as well as building relationships with other like minded businesses, some of which we’ll be talking about soon.
Bridget, Hundred Acre’s founder and director, has continued to love what she does and has really embraced her role as VP of IOSH. Needless to say there have been a few adventures along the way for Bridget so far this year, and she’s looking forward to more as 2017 progresses!
As the calendar turns to July this weekend, we’ll be thinking of our ASSE colleagues and American friends across the Atlantic as they celebrate Independence Day. Though firstly, our thoughts turn to their northern neighbours and all our CSSE and Canadian friends as they celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday on Saturday 1st July 2017. We know all our friends will be celebrating with their families and we’ll be thinking of them all.
Canada holds a very special place in our world; especially for Bridget. This year sees Bridget make her way back to Halifax for her 10th CSSE PDC. Each year she makes more memories and friends, and leaving becomes a little harder each time. Canada is woven through all of Hundred Acre and this weekend we send our best wishes to Canadians everywhere.
