Staying Safe

health and safety Apr 20, 2021

There are few constants in our world. Not least in this last year. You never know what will come next or what the future holds. Staying safe and living every moment has never been more important.

Staying safe has a different meaning for everyone. Protecting yourself, protecting loved ones and protecting all that is around you. Using different characteristics, mindset, processes and strengths from within or from all around.

The people around you come and go. Work and clients change and push you due to their own battles and challenges and thanks to everything that happens around you each day, you grow and evolve.

Challenges to your safety come in many forms. At work, at home, personally or professionally and whatever and from wherever; and with that everyone needs somewhere to feel they are always safe.

One day at a time, taking on and fighting every battle and every challenge as they appear.

Something constant

Today marks fifteen years in my safe place.

Whatever happens, this is where I always head back to, where I recharge and where I do whatever I need to to keep me grounded.

I am not the person who moved here, the world around me isn’t the world it was when I did. There has been no greater change than the last year and I am grateful I am here.

I remember when I bought this house, I knew it wasn’t my forever home and while I had no idea what the future held, and I still don’t, I knew it was where I was meant to be. It still is.

Do you have a safe place? Do you have that place that makes you feel grounded no matter what?

Today, after a very long year, my world is still quieter than I wish it to be and I am looking out for new opportunities. Whether consulting, coaching, mentoring or training - every day is opportunity to make a difference. Whatever that might bring is exciting.
